Turtle Coast Sierra Club

Brevard County and Indian River County

The National Sierra Club has issued guidelines that will limit our inside in-person activities through February 28, 2022. Our Executive Committee is evaluating the appropriate month to return to in person meetings based on this guidance, meanwhile, meetings will continue on Zoom.

As the hot summer weather abates, we will again be offering outdoor adventures and other activities.

Check our calendar at the bottom of this page, and the links above for Meetup, Blog, and Facebook for upcoming events online.

Solar United Neighborhood Space Coast Solar Co-Op has closed to new members.
Goto http://solarunitedneighbors.org/spacecoast for more information about getting solar PV panels on your house at a lower cost.

The Sierra Club Florida Chapter PAC page is online and is now able to take credit card donations. Click on Political Committee above, then click on Learn More button.

  1. Mission Statement - Our mission is to enjoy, explore and protect the natural places in Florida, to teach others to understand and respect the fragile environment in which we live, and to practice and promote the responsible use of Florida’s ecosystems and resources.
  2. Goals - Our goals as a local Sierra Club are to seek out environmental issues that are within our region and develop strategic plans to resolve those issues.
  3. Activism - Our actions speak louder than words. We participate in local events supporting our partnerships with other enviromental groups. Collectively we can make more of an impact on city and county government policy in support of the environment.
