We’re excited to welcome Julie Albert, director of the Blue World Research Institute’s Right Whale Sighting Network, as our guest speaker!
Julie will share insights into the critical status of North Atlantic Right Whales, one of the most endangered whales on the planet—with fewer than 375 individuals remaining.

  1. Mission Statement - Our mission is to enjoy, explore and protect the natural places in Florida, to teach others to understand and respect the fragile environment in which we live, and to practice and promote the responsible use of Florida’s ecosystems and resources.
  2. Goals - Our goals as a local Sierra Club are to seek out environmental issues that are within our region and develop strategic plans to resolve those issues.
  3. Activism - Our actions speak louder than words. We participate in local events supporting our partnerships with other enviromental groups. Collectively we can make more of an impact on city and county government policy in support of the environment.
